Kind attention please!!! Prioritize the sentiment and Interest of PM Cadre.
Dear Postmasters,
It was a rumor in the air upto the 2nd All India Conference of All India
Association of Postmaster Cadre held at Jaipur in 2014 that the Department of
Posts are not agreed to recognize separate association for Postmaster Cadre for
which the conference ended with difference of opinions regarding our future
plan. We are not disregarding the views of our friends who sought a ready-made
platform to take up the local issues / problems with the concerned authorities.
But on receipt of the Postal Directorate letter No 13/02/2014-SR dated

that the rumor was not at all correct and the Department is ready to consider
the case of declaring the PM cadre as ‘Distinct Category’ and recognition of
All India Association of Postmaster Cadre.
So friends, please be united
at this crucial juncture for the greater interest of Postmaster Cadre officials
in the long run. All of our friends are requested not to look behind, not to
look the past, only to look towards future. If we prioritize AIAPC, ultimately
we are prioritizing us.
Collection of necessary forms are completed in most of the circles and
centrally accumulated in W. B. Circle where those are being processed. In few
circles it is in advanced stage. Coordinators of these circles are requested to
send the forms immediately so as to reach in Kolkata within 20/01/2015.
Still there are many Postmasters in different circles who are not aware of the
recent development for formation of our own association as elicited from field
review. They are requested to download the required two copies of Members
Declaration Forms and two copies of Letter of Authorization Forms from ‘Forms’
option this blog. After filling of each form in duplicate they will send
those forms to their Circle secretary for processing of the same. Circle
association will provide Membership Number and send all Authorisation Forms to
Shri Himangshu Modak, Postmaster Gr-II Narkeldanga PO, Kolkata – 700011 before
20/01/2015 .
N.B: Those who are facing difficulties in downloading the forms in JPEG/ PDF Format from our Blogs / Websites, they are requested to mail us at aiapcchq@gmail.com for receiving MS WORD file of the forms.

Manner of forwarding of forms by the Circle Associations
It is noticed that some Circle Associations are sending forms as per their own arrangement which is contrary to the suggestion received from the Directorate as published in this blog under post “Action Plan Supplementary- 2” on 21/11/2014. The same is again published hereunder for sending the processed forms in proper way:
I. The Circle Committee
will allot Membership Number to every member in the following uniform format:
AIAPC-(name
of circle in abbreviation as chosen by circles)-(Sl. No),
i.e.
AIAPC-WB-01 (For membership no 01 of W. B. Circle).
II.
Each Circle Committee will please send one copy of Membership Declaration Form
and one copy of Letter of Authorization Form in a consolidated manner by Speed
Post in the following format for national consolidation as well as processing
for onward transmission to the Directorate.
