  5. Seniority must be based on merit of feeder cadre instead of date of joining As joining depends upon the dste of relieving and distance of postings tv

  6. As per DoP&T’s O.M. No.20011/1/2008-Estt.(D) Dated 11th November 2010 and O.M. No. 20011/5/90-Estt (D) Dated 4.11.1992 the seniority should be fixed based on the feeder cadre and the relative seniority should be maintained in the present cadre aslo. LSG is the feeder cadre for all generala line and Postmaster cadre post as on the date of creation of PM cadre. The merit position in LSG Fast track exam 2003 should be the basis for fixing seniority for PM Grade-III. All the officials in PM grade-III who were holding HSG-I on Regular basis may be the top most in the seniority list and others should be arranged based on merit list of 2003 LSF exam irrespective of date of joining in the Postmaster grade-III.Date of joining should not be the basis for seniority in any cadre. The association immediately take up the issue with directorate and stop this yet another injust to PM cadre officials.

  8. Dear comrade I appreciate your sincere efforts for the betterment of Postmaster cadre you have done till today.I hope you will continue your efforts on. I request you that the matter of fixing seniority in All India Combined Seniority of Postmaster Grade-III cadre till- 2015 may be taken up with the Directorate as the seniority of the officials is based on the date of joining in postmaster cadre. In this list my name exists at serial no-15 while officials at serial no 13 & 14 having same date of joining ie 10-08-2013 are younger than me therefore I should be ranked above them & should be at serial no-13. Secondly I passed FTP exam HSG-II for the year 2004 & joined in HSG-II cadre on 19-05-2005 after that promoted to HSG-I approved by the panel (DPC held on 16-06-2008) and continuously working in HSG-I cadre since 01-11-2008 on regular basis.I feel I should be at the top of the seniority list.

  9. Dear Comrade,
The journey of this association will be more commendable if ultimate promotional avenue upto Senior Postmaster is made crystal clear and only deserving candidates of feeder grade LSG/HSG are brought into a common all India seniority list as on 01.01.2010 just the year of inception of Postmaster Cadre in postal wing.In fact if it materializes the initialization will be completed and those given chance of giving option will be brought at par.In this connection reference may be made to para 3.2.1 of DOPT OM F no.35034/7/97-Estt(D) dated at New-Delhi the 8th Feb2002 wherein it was explicitly mentioned that in this sort of cases the select panel to be prepared keeping inter-se seniority of feeder grade(LSG/HSG) intact.Hope our association take this case at appropriate level taking into cognizance the no of years of service rendered at this feeder grade level being the basis of this promotion.

    Yours
