One time relaxation for promotion of Postmaster Gr-I & II Officers to the posts of Postmaster Gr-II & III respectively

Dear Members,

Unity coupled with timely action will always bring success… this is evident from the success.  We got in revising our RR to some extent.  Our unity with a purpose shall always prevail….

Success won’t come without raising a voice and efforts…..  It’s now proved once again. The Directorate has pleased to issue necessary guidance to the Heads of Circles allowing relaxation for the promotion to the post of Postmaster Grade-II & Grade-III on regular/ adhoc basis against our letter to Directorate vide no. AIAPC-17/Corr/2015-16    Dated 20/08/2015  & AIAPC-21/Corr/2015-16 dated 23/09/2015.

On this occasion TeamAIAPC congratulates all the members who have kept their patience and maintained unity to bring this success.

With the continuous letters and reminders to the Directorate, the TeamAIAPC has achieved this success.  Now most of the PM Gr-I officers will get achoc promotion and the PM Gr-I and II officers who have completed 5 years and 4 years of service respectively will get regular promotion to Grade-II & III as the case may be.

But friends, it is not exactly what we demanded legitimately in our letter no AIAPC-17/Corr/2015-16    Dated 20/08/2015 and series of reminders submitted on this letter. What we wanted is parity with the Recruitment Rules of PM Cadre with RR of HSG-II & HSG-I wherein quantum of relaxation was awarded higher, means Postmaster Gr-I officers should be promoted to Postmaster Gr-II after completion of three years and Postmaster Gr-II officers also should be promoted to Postmaster Gr-III after completion of three years from and upto the date at par with HSG-II & HSG-I RR. Regarding this issue we have also made RTI on 04/04/2016 in relation to numbers of LSG officials promoted to HSG-II and number of HSG-II officials promoted to HSG-I after issuance of revised recruitment rules of HSG-I and HSG-II.

Directorate is moving our concentration towards one time relaxation and ignoring our demand regarding parity with LSG, HSG-II and HSG-I recruitment rules. But we will continue fight for our justice as we are much more efficient than LSG, HSG-II and HSG-I officials, then why we will be awarded less promotional opportunity from them?

This one time relaxation will benefit the initial cadre only not those officials who have joined later on, so the benefit is for one time only, we want benefit for long term.

We will remind again to the Directorate towards our legitimate demand. If the Directorate is not able to provide more benefit to this advance cadre, at least they may keep parity in promotional prospect with General Line.

This department is growing to be the giant financial institution in India. In this transition period we are the only hope for the department who can lead the department to its peak.

Dear Friends, still there are lots of goals to be achieved…….

Be United… Get United… Remain United …. We will achieve the success….

AIAPC Zindabad !!!
