LSG/IPO pay scales were equal before some years when postmaster cadre was not stood. One side highier responsibilities to run whole postoffice, including supervision work,being Head of all branch's work , he is liable, punishment for every part of work , mistake or negligency . Responsibilities duties increased but pay scales decreased. Ipos cadre work duties become less , convenient because of compiterisation. His duties became more easier for inspection checking work. Why they are geyting more pay.
PMO, Fin Min, Dte. should be known that Head of Post office, I.e. Postmasters are working three type of work ( eCommerse,+Banking+Mails Delivery+Cod Parcel business+Insurance) conclusively , so their pay scales much be higher than other because of liabjlities.
We should demand for pm grade 1gp 4600.otherwise give option to appear in LDCE for IP exam.In quartered offices no financial benefit as we lost HRA.we should also demand HRA for quartered offices also since staying is part of our duty.
Dear AIAPC, Well done and I, M.Muthukrishnan on behalf of all Postmasters extend sincere thanks for your strenuous efforts in time for the uplift of our Postmaster Cadre. At any cost we should fight at all levels for getting Grade Pay of Rs.4600/ for Postmaster (Grade I) at par with an Inspector Post. Also totally there are 3219 Posts through out India in our PM cadre and it will not be a burden in Expenditure for the Govt. to grant this Hike in Pay to Officers belonging to this vital Cadre of the Postal Department. Also all Postmasters should also be permitted to appear for LDCE ( for all Group "B" Posts) to simply better our prospects. All Postmaster friends are requested at this juncture to join in a single line UNITEDLY to achieve the desired Goal for our Cadre which will facilitate reputation not only to us but also to our future Successors of our Cadre.
Appeal to all Postmasters are requested, we are loosing, HRA which will highier in CPC. We are facing much trouble of responsibilities, paying much hrs. To duty. We are working , will go out of DN. Please compare with yours PAs on all above points, they are eligible to face exam but u are not. PLEASE GIVE ULTIMMATUM collectively to Deptt. For going back to PA cadre, all postmasters may give pressure to Deptt. Other wise we always will be loosers , will never be go back to PA cadre, and will be less than PACadre.
