This a very delightful news to share you all that AIAPC, UP has successfully organized a Circle Conference on 15^th of March,2015 at Kanpur.

In which many Postmaster Cadre Officials from corners of Uttar Pradesh joined and made it successful.

Membership Verification through “Check-Off System”

All the Postmaster Gr-I, II & III friends are requested to sign the letter of authorisation / consent letter for deduction of subscription from salary only in favour of All India Association of Postmaster Cadre, not in favour of others to protect the interest of Postmaster Cadre.

All the Circle Committees are requested to be ready to take part in the process of verification of membership through “Check-Off System” in accordance with the CCS(RSA) Rules, 1993 uploaded in this blog.

            AIAPC wises you all Seasonal Greetings !

It is time for all Postmaster Cadre friends to stand united, 7^th Pay Commission’s consideration is upon the anvil, we have to project and protect the interest of Postmaster Cadre.

            We are sharing greater responsibilities as Postmasters, keeping in view of responsibilities of AIAPC. It is only the Postmasters in Postmaster Cadre who can fight by heart for the benefit of their own cadre.

            To make sure, we are heard at appropriate forums at Directorate level.

AIAPC delegates led by Sh. Arun Kumar Bal, President and Sh. Balveer Singh, General Secretary visited at the Postal Directorate on 26-02-2015 along with other members of the team namely Sh. Sailesh Seth, Assistant Secretary, Sh. Rajesh Jain, PM Gr-I, Supreme Court P.O. and Sh. Himangshu Kumar Modak, Circle Secretary, West Bengal Circle.

            During the discussion the Hon’ble Director (SR & Legal) agrees to recognize the AIAPC on principle as a non-federated association provided that AIAPC passes in the process of membership verification to be held in the month of April 2015 as applicable to all other existing unions and associations. In the mean time, the Directorate is formulating the way to recognize AIAPC.

Therefore, in order to ensure 100% enrolment to the association, we appeal to all Postmasters to be ready to submit their declarations (authorization) in favour of AIAPC.

Present position of AIAPC and clarification regarding Membership withdrawal from existing Union/ Association.

Dear Friends,

            It is intimated to you all that our reply dtd 30/01/2015 has been received at the Directorate on 02/02/2015. Owing to the assembly election of the state of Delhi in this month, other official works have to be kept postponed as most of the staff and officers were on election duty. However, we are in constant touch with our case and very much hopeful that declaring us as “Distinct Category” only waiting for time to pass. In the mean time we are preparing the Memorandum for Postmaster Cadre for submission to the 7^th CPC which is also in active stage.

Secondly, it has come to the notice of this association that there are many DDOs throughout the country who are not giving prospective effect to the applications made by our members regarding withdrawal from existing P3 service unions showing various reasons.

With a view to take up all such cases with the respective DDOs, it is intimated that any member of any existing unions/association has the authority to withdraw his or her membership from existing unions/ associations in accordance with the Para (iv) of the D.G. Posts Letter No. 13-1/93-SR (Vol. IV) dated 4-8-1995. Copy of the same as extracted from CHAPTER 33 under SECTION IV of SWAMY’S- ESTABLISHMENT AND ADMINISTRATION may please be brought to the notice of the respective DDOs who are avoiding their responsibilities in this regard.  To view or download the above-mentioned D.
