Directorate’s letter dated 28.04.2016 for providing one-time relaxation for promotion to the posts of Postmaster Grade-II & III was basically the Golden Dreams (Wildfire)

The Hon’ble Directorate earlier vide letter dated 17.10.2018 (already published in this blog on 25.10.2018) clarified that all the officials who were promoted to Postmaster Grade-I on the basis of the result of LDCE declared on 30^th June, 2011 and got posting order even in February, 2012, had completed 5 years service as on 01.04.2016 and become eligible for promotion by virtue of relaxation provided vide the Directorate's letter dated 28.04.2016. But now vide letter dated 02.01.2019, the Hon’ble Directorate has modified its previous letter.

Hence, the Hon’ble Directorate’s letter dated 04.01.2019 does not make any sense in respect to the officials of Postmaster Grade-I who joined in the cadre after qualifying LDCE-2011
